As a creative agency and an event production company, Gaybors Agency is proud to bring gaybors (aka LGBTQ+ creators, artists and podcasts) and agencies, brands, businesses, destinations, properties and events together ensuring they reach and build loyalty with the LGBTQ+ community.
Gaybors are tastemakers, trendsetters and the driving force behind introducing and selling products and services to the gayborhood. Their content is authentic, engaging and is from a valuable perspective which makes them trusted members of the LGBTQ+ community while they move forward visibility. We handle every stage of the campaign from development and casting to delivery—not just during Pride, but all year long.

No. We do not require exclusivity and you are open to take any and all bookings outside of Drag in Demand. We do have an agreement for each event that must be e-signed which includes the event details and deliverables along with the code of conduct which must be returned to confirm the event.
-
Drag in Demand will issue event notifications. The drag performer is required to confirm availability and a rate for the event deliverables. The event notifications are sent by email, push notification (on The Gaybors app) and/or text message. You can update your event notifications by contacting Gaybors Agency. Drag performers who meet the event requirements must submit their interest by the closing date listed on the event notification.
-
Event planners are required to provide detailed information about the event, provide photos of the event space and dressing room and bathroom, as well as sign an agreement which includes a code of conduct for themselves and their guests. Each event is provided with the dressing room requirements which is submitted by the drag performer during registration and can be updated at any time by contacting a team member at Gaybors Agency.
-
Once you have been chosen by the client for an event, you’ll receive an event agreement which outlines the event details and deliverables along with the code of conduct. Once the agreement is e-signed you’ll receive the event sheet which includes the contact information, event details, photos of the event space (including the dressing room and bathroom) along with the performance details.
Drag performers are required to provide the tracks along with a description and photos of the wardrobe for approval. While we appreciate artistic expression, we do not allow for nudity at any Drag in Demand event.
-
You are a representative of Gaybors Agency when you are fulfilling an event agreement and should act as such. During the event there is no nudity, drug use, excessive drinking, misuse of the property, threatening or aggressive language or behavior. The event agreement signed by the event planner includes the same requirements for their guests.
We reserve the right to remove a drag performer registered in the Drag in Demand program for any behavior, both in-person and on social media, we feel is detrimental to the mission of Gaybors Agency and Drag in Demand. Should a drag performer be removed from the Drag in Demand program, they will receive an email notification and any and all marketing collateral will be removed from The Gaybors app, social media and website within five business days.

Safety is our top priority which is why we take the following steps for each and every event booking:
We provide a detailed event profile along with photos of the event space including the private and lockable dressing room and bathroom to the drag performer(s).
Each event is required to sign an agreement which states requirements of the event space, payment terms, code of conduct for guests as well as safety measures, such as dedicated security, for the drag performer(s).
Prior to the event there is an on-site visit of the event location with the event planner for a walk through of the event space, dressing room(s), bathroom and any other relevant areas.
For each approved event the drag performer is required to bring a liaison who communicates between the event planner and the drag performer(s) during the event. The liaison must be over the age of 18, have a working cell phone and the rate submitted by the drag performer for the event must include the liaison details including name, phone number, email, rate and payment details.
Our goal is to build a large enough roster and drive enough revenue for each market that we can hire a dedicated team member who performs on-site visits, accompanies the drag performer(s) to events and coordinates additional event services such as bar services, bounce houses, DJ's, a ticket portal and staging and lighting services.
-
We know that many drag performer riders for the dressing room include requests for alcohol which should be consumed in moderation. If you and/or the liaison have any alcohol within 12 hours of the event you are not permitted to drive and must take a car sharing service such as Lyft or Uber to/from the event. Access to the dressing room is permitted only to the drag performer(s), liaison and event planner and alcohol in the dressing room is not to be served to anyone outside of these parties.
-
If you and the liaison arrive at the event and there are non-safety issues (such as missing items in the dressing room) those must be shared with the event planner pn-site and be reported with photos to Gaybors Agency within three business days of the event.
While we require in the event agreement the event planner provide a private and lockable dressing room, we ask that drag performers be mindful of what they pack to an event and to keep any and all valuables, including cash tips, in the lockable dressing room. If any items are stolen from the drag performer, a list of items along with receipts must be provided to Gaybors Agency within three days so proper steps including filling of a police report with a local precinct can be completed and the stolen items and their value can be reported to the event planner.
At any point if a drag performer(s) feels unsafe they have the right to leave an event. For any and all medical or safety emergencies that require assistance, the drag performer and/or liaison must contact local law enforcement immediately.
-
We issue the invoice to the client and payment is due no less than seven days before the event date. Once the payment is received we issue a deposit (50%) with the balance to be issued within three days after the event is completed. Payments are issued by Zelle or check.
Talent must provide a w9 and is considered a contractor who is responsible for filing all local and federal tax forms and returns.
